Doppler

So I have a Doppler tucked away from when I had my DD. I can't remember for the life of me when I started using it with her. I am guessing it had to be at least after my first OB visit at 9 weeks. I am very tempted to pull it out. But it's too early right? Thanks ladies.

    I've heard people say they found the hb at 9 weeks, but with my daughter even the OB couldn't find the hb with the Doppler at 10 weeks. I didn't even try mine until 13ish weeks because I didn't want to freak myself out.

    With my last loss, I tried around 10 weeks and didn't hear anything, but tried not to worry... This time around, I'll just wait.

    I didn't find a hb until 9w4d and even then, it wasn't consistant.  I would only pull it out if you can tell yourself that it will be ok if you don't find it because it still may be too early.

    I tried at 10 weeks with DS and found it right away.  Started trying earlier with this pregnancy and found it at 9w2d.  GL!

    I have never gotten a heart beat at an appointment before 12 weeks, but apparently I have a retroverted uterus so that might be part of it.

    If you can keep your cool in the event that you can't find it, I would pull it out. That being said, I didn't try until I was farther along by about 2 weeks.

    I tried at 10 weeks & was able to hear it faintly. Honestly the doppler I have (Sonoline B) picked up the HB much better than the one at the OBGYN's office! It's saved me from worrying several times & I'm so grateful. I almost always have DH with me in the event baby is hiding & it scares me. He reassures me.
