  If the fever doesn't break, I'd look for an after hours pedi.

  Me: 30, Dx Unexplained/hypothalamic amenorrhea
  DH: 31, normal!
  April/May 2011: Menopur + Ovidrel +TI = BFN
  Oct 2011: Menopur + Hcg +IUI = BFP!
  Beta #1 (13dpiui)= 129.7, Beta #2 (15 dpiui)= 305

  How old is baby girl? (Sorry mobile.) I've been told you can alternate Motrin and Tylenol but I would check with doctor first. Has the Motrin not brought the fever down? If not, I'd call pediatrician and let them know what is going on.

  Does the motrin bring it down at all? Is she still eating/drinking? DS has had fevers as high as 104 and we were told to only go to the ER if it got as high as 105.....which seems super high!! I honestly wouldn't freak out. Sounds like the fever is related to her ears.

  She's 8 months old. I just checked and it's going down - it's 100 now. Hopefully a good sign. Poor baby. This breaks my heart.
  
  Thanks for the help ladies.

  MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12

  ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

  I agree with alternating motrin and tylenol. Try lukewarm bath to also bring it down. Fever is the bodys natural way of fighting off the infection. 105 is dangerous and needs immediate attention. 102 needs to just be made comfortable. Hope that makes sense.

  We were told to alternate too between the meds. H ran a constant fever, never higher than 101, from last Thursday until Monday while on meds around the clock. It sucked for sure. Hope she feels better soon and the fever breaks.

  I know I'm late to this post, but after 6 months, you can alternate between Tylenol and Motrin like others have said.  You can also do luke warm to cool baths if baby doesn't mind.  I hope LO feels better.  In case you didn't know, fevers run in cycles during the day and will often peak in the evening.  Never hesitate to call your Pedi, that's what they are there for

  So happy that its going down! It sounds like the motrin is helping. Its still awful to watch though!

  I am so sorry LO was so sick! I know I am very late to this post, t the same thing happened to DS when he was around six months old. He had a horrible at infection. He started antibiotics but it got worse before it got better. His fever spiked at over 104. I was so scared and called the pedi but she said since we knew the cause of the fever and the infection was being treated that it was okay. Hope your LO is doing better now,
