Good luck.......says the mom who can't get her LO to go to sleep! I still haven't found a magic trick to make this work. We've tried everything we can think of and bedtime still takes at least two hours. The only thing that I will suggest is that every night when I lay her down I take my t shirt off and give to her. I supervise it very closely since I'm in there settling her down every two or three minutes, but she seems to like to have it to cling to while she's falling asleep. I take it away as soon as she goes to sleep.
If you find the magic trick pleas share with the class!
We actually did better going to crib than to PNP... Good luck!
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
Ugh....that lasted a whopping 30 minutes. At least I was able to rock him back to sleep just a few minutes after he woke up crying. I think I'm just gonna try to put him in there every night hoping it will just get easier
We failed. LO is still in her pnp after our unsuccessful attempt. My older kids were in their cribs at 6 weeks. This little girl is proving to have her own personality!
Good luck. We just completed a transition to the pnp from the bassinet. Three nights of sleep regression (up every hour) but now she is sleeping longer than ever.
