Bleeding is back sooo.... back to L&D we go.

I got up to pee at about 3 am and sure enough, bright red blood in the toilet. I have a complete previa and I had some bleeding right before Christmas, I spent one night in the Hospital to be monitored and then was sent home on modified bedrest through the weekend. I saw my doc on Monday and hadn't had anymore bleeding since that first episode. He took me off of bedrest, he said to resume "normal" activity (minus working) until I saw him on Jan 2nd and then he'd re evaluate and let me know if I could go back to work.
Sooooo, all was fine until I peed. There's more blood than there was last time and it's still coming, not gushing, but it's there. The doc will see me in the morning. Crap, I hope I'm not stuck here for the long haul, but I also hope she can stay put longer. I'm 29 weeks BTW.

Was it a significant bleed? If you have any questions about this let me know as I am now on complete hospital bedrest until my twins are born; I am also 29 weeks. I have complete previa from baby A and had a large bleed three weeks ago, was admitted for four days and released. Woke up Christmas morning and had a huge bleed where they rushed me to the trauma center with the highest nicu and here I remain

I wish you all the best and hope they release you but if you want a buddy I am here for the long haul. Keep us updated.

Thanks for your thoughts ladies. I'm just lying here waiting for the doc to come in. I haven't slept at all, these beds suck and I'm just too worried. It will be interesting to see what the doc on call says because he is not my regular doc. When I saw my doc on Monday he said if I had anymore bleeding, or if I started contracting I was "done." I'm not really sure what that means so we shall see.

@Matthew24, I'm not sure if I'm tagging you correctly because I'm mobile. Of course, I'd love a buddy in my situation! I dont know if it was a "significant" bleed. All I know is the last time it happened they told me to come straight back to L&D if I had ANY bleeding. This time there was more than last time, so I figured I best get my butt here. I hope your doing well and your babies stay put longer. I'm hoping to be released and sent home on bedrest, that would be ok I guess.

I know the amount of bleeding made a difference in whether or not I would be stuck here which is why I asked. Keep me updated. Hopefully you can be released but also be prepared for the worst that they made hold you. Gl!

Hopefully you won't have to deliver early and they just keep you on bed rest as long as possible. Keep us updated & keep cooking. Thoughts & prayers being sent your way.
