Any UFC Fans Here?

Tonight was wild! I'm not a die hard fan by any stretch of the imagination but we rented them tonight for the two main fights.

I almost puked when they showed the replay of Silva breaking his leg, twice. I hate two things in fights, blood, and broken bones. (<which is why I'm not a very good fan, ha!)

  • Shoot I haven't watched it yet, eh I probably won't anyway. It's recorded for DH to watch tomorrow. He's gonna freak out. Were the fights at least good before that?

  • I'm a freak and can't look away when they show things like that. My Brother sent me the clip and I was so into it haha. It's just weird how our body works and how easily they can break.

  • The girls were so badass, that chick had a permanent stank face.  I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley.  I can't believe Silva lost that way, that was insane.  My H is a die hard Silva fan, so he was sulking last night.  I thought that Weidman was a very gracious winner though.

  • I thought there were lots of great fights last night, they were short though! The Rousey/Tait fight was probably the most exciting fight until the end, then of course the boooooo's.

I'm still shocked over Silva! He'll never come back from that, he's old and even if he tries there will always be "oh since he broke his leg..." I feel for the guy though, I can't imagine how bad that hurt!!

  • Those were some impressive fights last night. The Rousey/Tate fight was bad ass. I felt terrible for Silva...heard the bone snap and just couldn't watch the replays. I can handle blood, but after breaking my own bones and tearing ligaments in sports - I just can't watch those kinds of injuries without getting queasy. As PP said, Silva will never recover from that break.
