Hi there! I usually post on the March 14 board but I had a specific question that I'm not sure they could answer. I've been GD for about 3 weeks now and have been taking my measurements with good numbers for the most part. My fasting number is the problem, I rarely get it below 100 (never above 110 though). On Friday the OB put me on 1.25 mg of glyburide at night to see how I do with that. I'm not sure when the best time to take it is though. I have been taking it with my evening snack around 9-930 pm and my fasting numbers have not changed. I am going to email the OB and ask her if I need to up the dose or take it at a different time but I wanted to see what your experience was because I may not hear back for a few days at least with the holiday coming up. I'd really like to get this number down since I know its not great for the baby to be high so often throughout the day. Thanks!

Just wanted to add that sometimes when you introduce new meds/doses it takes more than a few days for your body to show results of them working. I know for me I never saw results for at least 3-5 days after starting.
