Sorry if this has been asked before. So my daughter is just about 5 months and still EBF. For the past week or two her poops have been getting thicker, almost to what I would potentially consider peanut butter consistency. But my understanding was that we wouldn't hit that phase til she started solids. Am I going crazy or do I really need to start rinsing her diapers before tossing them in the pail/wet bag now?

Re: Peanut butter poo before solids?
Like @doeie04 I was concerned that someone was feeding him something else as well. But after conferring with the BF board... It seems like flukes can happen.
Here's to hoping poos return to normal! Else buy a sprayer early since you'll likely want one in a month or two anyway.
We "delayed" starting to 6 months because we were watching closely for food allergies and I was already doing a pretty extreme elimination diet. PB poo seemed to appear once he started eating significant amounts of solids, so I never questioned it.
