Thoughts and prayers, please! *Update*

I've been a bit MIA since Vinny was born a week ago. Between 4 kids and Christmas, it's been crazy!
Today was Vincent's first check-up since we left the hopsital last Saturday. Good news is that he has gained 8oz. since then and is 2oz. away from being back to his birth weight. That boy loves to eat!
Bad news is that he tested positive for a birth defect called Phenylketonuria. It's a rare metabolic disorder that affects the way the body breaks down protein. If it's not treated shortly after birth, it can be destructive to the nervous system. It's a genetic disorder and since there is no history of mine or DH's family having it, the doctors think it may have been a false positive. We were sent for more blood work today so we're praying that it comes back negative this time!
Vinny also has a lump on the right side of his head that we are getting an ultrasound for tomorrow. The doctor didn't really have an idea of what it might be without some testing. We have a follow up appointment for everything on Monday, so if we can get some thoughts and prayers that he is healthy and all of his tests come back normal, I would really appreciate it!
ETA: One of these days I'll get around to writing his birth story and posting pictures 
*Update*
The lump on Vincent's head is a dermoid cyst, which isn't a big deal unless it starts to grow faster than he does. Then they would talk about removal, but not until after he's 12 months old.
We just got the lab results back today for the PKU and it came back positive again 
We have to meet with a geneticist on the 14th to figure out where to go from here. His levels weren't too far above normal so I'm still holding out hope that he doesn't have it.
I know it's not a life threatening diagnosis, but it's still very life altering and difficult. I'm just ready to know all the answers!
