1) DH got me my first pair of pearl earrings (I mentioned this to him months ago and I couldn't believe he remembered. It was very thoughtful of him)
2) A new miele vacuum cleaner from my parents (I'm a swiffer queen so I welcome this new gadget with open arms)
3) My maternity pics arrived on Christmas Eve! (not really a gift, but they were free of charge from a friend and I patiently waited for over 3wks to see them and love them)
4) Cash (planning to buy an elliptical because this double chin thing I'm rocking is not really working for me haha)

1. Bose Soundlink Mini Speaker and light blue case from DH.
2. A white gold and diamond infinity necklace from my mom. She got one for me and my 2 sisters in honor of my dad. It was a very special moment yesterday.
3. A new coffee mug that Carter picked out for me all by himself. He was SO EXCITED to give it to me I started tearing up. Effing adorable.
I asked mostly for things baby girl still needed. She got a cute shopping cart cover, changing pad cover, and other various decor items for her room. For me I mainly asked for gift cards to TJ Maxx so i could go buy some new clothes after she is born. (or a new purse, pjs, housewares, baby items.....seriously they have everything)
I laughed at DH when he asked me a few day prior to Christmas if his parents should also get me a gift card to TJM (knowing he'd already gotten me one) instead of to another store. As if I could have too much money to spend there. I looked at him and said "Honey I could blow a grand in there in under an hour without even trying. No you will not be over doing it.

Top 3 in no particular order bc I love them all: DH bought a keurig coffee maker and told BIL so I also received 4 boxes of different k-cups to go with it
DH bought me a Columbia coat which I have asked for 3 yrs in a row, but they are really expensive. We set a budget but then he went waaaay over with the coffee maker and coat. When I said maybe we should take 1 back he said no you need to be spoiled this year. He said its merry Christmas but also thank you for letting him fulfill his career dreams and taking care of DS while he's been away the past 5 months. Soon it will be new baby too. So I just shut up and said thank you:) cannot wait until march when he's home for good!
The other awesome gift is a china teaset from my mom. She found it at a second hand tea store in Germany and brought it all the way home for me. I think it is such a unique and beautiful gift. I have wanted one forever, but just got a china hutch this past year. So mom decided it was time.
1)Santa brought me new diamond earrings and a diamond ring for my right hand. (Our house was broken into and every piece of my jewelry was taken, SO is trying to replace what he can as he can) 2)The kids gave me a new willow tree figurine. 3)My dad gave me a new Swiss watch and super comfy slippers.
1. DH got me a date night in the city, opera tix with a promise of tux/ dress attire. Love getting dressed up and I get to teach him about the opera (I'm a music teacher and used I take my students) 2. Sister got me a necklace with DD's initial with the promise of this LO's initial when he/she arrives. So thoughtful!! 3. Bro and girlfriend got me and DD matching aprons. So cute!!!
I-pad from dh! Perfume for my girls. New purse and wallet which had money in it from my parents. Still have to do fil! Best present was I had to work today and hd and dds put away all Christmas stuff and cleaned the house!
@junglebaby11, DH for the win. I can totally relate. I'm glad he spoiled you this year
He's a pretty great guy he kept saying how much he appreciates my love and support. All I could think was well that would kinda make me a major B if I didn't support my husband. It gets stressful at times but I just try to take a step back and think how hard it is for him too. He doesn't have the responsibility of the kids, but he has a very stressful job. Also he is away from all our friends and family and I get to go home to DS and soon to be LO everyday.
Oh and YEA for you and your DH, two whole months early!!! I cannot even imagine if DH was out of the country instead of just 8.5 hrs away. He has been in for almost 5 years and this is our 3rd stateside deployment. I know how stressful overseas deployments are as well my little brother was in Afghanistan for 10 months last year and that was brutal. I work with my SIL and tried to help her as much as possible babysitting, cooking meals, etc... My 2 yr old nephew got MRSA and had two surgeries within a week and I snuck into her house cleaned it and did her laundry. My DH was my partner in crime there (like I said he's pretty great). But ya having a little bro gone was rough enough I could not fathom my life partner being gone. You are a very strong lady and I have so much respect for you! Merry Christmas!!
