DIY chalkboard dresser

I want to chalkboard paint a dresser for little man. I like these two options a lot. The first option the dresser is completely chalkboard painted and the second option it is just the drawers that are chalkboard painted. Which is cuter?

    I prefer just the drawers from an aesthetic standpoint-- however if it's for him to draw on, the sides provide a bigger "canvas."

    I don't love the labeling the drawer concept though...unless its specifically for crafts not clothes.

    Btw be careful with the paint it's super noxious. I painted a kitchen wall with it and magnetic paint (even worse!). Just wear a respirator.

    I'm not really a fan for a bedroom dresser, but drawers only definitely looks better. I suppose I can see it being cute with certain themes/styles if you are an artsy person, but the whole dresser is definitely overdoing it.

    I'm seriously not a fan of this whole chalkboard everything craze...but just the drawers looks way better than the whole thing.

    I get it, cute.... However, chalk dust makes a huge mess. I can just imagine a kiddo getting colored chalk dust all over the clean clothes in the drawers. Ugh! Would drive me BONKERS

    I think I like just the drawers too. I would use paint pens not chalk for labeling, less chalk dust.

    I think they look cute and prefer the complete one, but honestly there are a couple reasons not to do it - as pp mentioned, chalk dust makes a huge mess! And also, you don't want your child breathing it in either (although I think you can get dust free chalk).... Plus you want this to be a sleepy place not a play room probably, especially once the baby gets older and you are attempting naps without a crib!
