I had to have a scheduled C/S at 39 weeks because my DD was breech. Therefore, I never went into labor.

Those are weirdly big categories. Obviously most people will be 38-42 weeks when you take a big enough sample. probably 39-41 more accurately.

DS1 came at 36w3d. DS2 came at 40w3d (but I took 17-HP shots to keep him in longer.)

Some huge percentage of babies are born between 36-41 weeks so those were definitely weirdly large categories. Babies come when they come. I've had friends who went into labor at 38 weeks as FTMs and then were induced after 41 weeks with later pregnancies. And the flips of those. Babies just...come. They rule all, right? That's what I keep hearing.

And for reference...I went into labor on my own at 39 weeks 4 days last time.

39w 6d with DD. When she was born the Dr. figured she could have easily come a week earlier - she had all the signs of an overdue baby. Long finger nails, really wrinkly skin, etc. So I'm hoping this one will come a little earlier. Who knows tho!

OMG tables and graphs! According to these statistics, I have a 1:4 chance of having a Dec baby, and currently about 4% chance of going into labor on any given day.

From other nerdy stuff I've read, you're statistically more likely to be late with your first, but like PP have pointed out, there's a huge range.
