Parenting after a Loss

**MrsPatterson**

I LOLd at your description of your LO kicking you in the throat.  It sounds like we have the exact same routine.  We had two great weeks where I'd bring DD into bed with me at 6:30 and then she'd fall asleep after nursing and sleep until close to 8 a.m.  No longer.  I try every morning, but she always just moves around and kicks (but I get kicked in the ribs and boobs, not the throat).

Re: **MrsPatterson**

  • Oh man I get the boob/rib kicks too lol!  DS is thrilled with himself that he can move around so he uses one leg to propel himself so his head is facing the other direction and just kicks like a madman.  But I think I'm the insane one because the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.  And every weekend morning, I bring him to bed with me between 5:30-6:30, hoping he'll sleep more so I can sleep more.
