No more sex!?!? TMI

My husband and I did the deed. And 1st it hurt like holy hell, hubby is not lacking in the size department.
2nd I contacted and had bad cramps for about an hour afterwards.
Then to top it off I spotted for about 24 hours afterward. Not a lot just had spots on the toilet paper every timed I wiped.

WTF? Not fun. I'll bring it up with my OB. But I think I'm making my own call on this one and no more sex.
Anybody else go through this? What did your health provider say?

    My DH and I have to use a lot of lubrication in order for it to not be painful. We take it slow and just try different positions until something works! Even if we don't end up finishing, it's still better than nothin'!

    I have placenta previa, I'm on pelvic rest and have been for 2 weeks. It's killing me. I'm praying that it has resolved by my next ultrasound 1/10/14! I don't want to go without for the rest if the pregnancy.

    Maybe try a different position so he doesn't penetrate as deeply? And use more lube? Sex is still do-able for us, though we have to get creative about positions....though TBH neither of us has much sex drive right now.

    Pretend it's high school and do other fun stuff?
    I was just told that I have possible or borderline placenta previa so I'm back on pelvic rest. The 2 weeks I was off pelvic rest DH was sick, and he's still sick.
    After the holidays I'm going to ask if pelvic rest for me includes no "O" or just no penetration.

    Being on modified bedrest, Im not allowed to have 'any sexual arousal'...AT ALL. This is the one point my doctor stresses the most. Ill be on at least modified bedrest the rest of my pregnancy so no sex for a long time. So depressing. And of course I want to jump on DH ALL THE TIME! But I guess orgasm contracts the uterus and male ejaculation can soften the cervix so its the biggest no no for any one w. cervical issues. UGH

    @bethy84 my husband an I got a cock ring that keeps him from penetrating all the way. There are also double open ended sleeves that will help as well. Pm me if you want links or more infor.
