Spinach dip?

This is random but does anyone know if creamy spinach dip from the store is ok to eat? I know most will probably think I'm just being paranoid but it's for my own sanity! Thank you!

Some people stay away from spinach because of the salmonella outbreaks that have occurred. I only eat spinach I can wash thoroughly myself

That is for raw leaves.
Spinach dip is cooked. eat it and enjoy.

It's cooked & pasteurized. I know you want to "do what's best" but the human race would have gone extinct long ago if females couldn't eat a zillion things while pregnant.

The most helpful thing my midwife told me through both pregnancies: "you are pregnant. Not made of glass. Eat your food & don't fret your pregnancy away."

I eat spinach raw consistently.

Good source of iron and helps you poop. Woo.

aww man now I want the lobster crab spinach artichoke dip they have at red lobster! lol

I definitely can't eat spinach raw, though. I still have a few foods that make me nauseous that never went away completely when I got to the second trimester. xp

I'd avoid the "raw" or "flash pasteurized" varieties. But I doubt there are many. :-)
