Dear OP, I'll trade you any of your stuff for being 37 weeks with all the normal uncomfortableness that brings plus a broken foot(and the fun that brings trying to even get to a bathroom in time) and much less sleep.
If you read through the threads, you will see that a lot of ladies here had to deal with much worse situation. Also, there are pregnant ladies here with babies or toddlers who have not slept through the night for a LONG time. I understand that you're frustrated (we all are), but please consider your audience here.
We're ALL done with being pregnant. Start counting your blessings now that you don't have more to complain about.
A broken bone AND being pregnant Pre-E Kidney stones Gestational diabetes Precious pregnancy loss ( pretty sure all of my other PGAL ladies will be in a panic until we are actually holding our LOs ) Premature babies. Bed rest Etc etc
"So 35.5 weeks preggers and just had my strep test. For those have you who haven't had it yet... Enjoy that experience....I want to sleep more than 3 hours without having to wake up to pee"
Strep test was nothing close to what your OB will do when he/she checks if your cervix is opening! Get ready and "enjoy that experience"! lol
WHAT!? You have 3 hours of sleep between pees?????? I cannot remember when I could sleep that much without having to pee! Now I pee, and by the time I put my underwear up, I put it right down and pee again... it is an interesting experience.
This is why I don't wear underwear at night anymore.
Birthmom to A, 1/8- the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. -Lao-Tzu
Sorry to keep beating a dead horse, but you do realize you're preaching to the choir, right? You're venting to ALL women who are due the same month as you. We're all carrying bowling balls in our uterus and sometimes, yes, it really sucks.
Also, I read this post and just have to get something off my chest: Whenever I get in a "woe-is-me" attitude, I remember that there are women out there who would give ANYTHING to feel the pain, stress, and physical discomfort that I go through every day. These women might not ever have the experience of carrying a child to full term and giving birth. I recommend you try to remember these women next time you feel like complaining.
Alright, I'm stepping off my soapbox now. Thanks for letting me rant.
