@happyhour73 oh lord so much wrong. The bride and groom want a wedding they cannot afford clearly if they're asking you to help pitch in to throw their party. Under no circumstances would I attend this wedding, for a little over $2k my H and I have an all inclusive week in Cancun by ourselves. This might be an UO but I don't *get* DWs. If you understand that you're asking people to pay a shit load of money and time off work to see you get married (big whoop) then that's fine, but don't throw a shit fit when not everyone wants to break the bank to watch you say I do. As for her cappuccino maker, she can shove it.

I have some friends of mine ( I guess you call them that) that we do a Christmas brunch together every year. Well this year has kinda been hell on me. I actually haven't seen them but a couple of times this year because I had major surgery on my head in April then with all the pregnancies I've been on and off bed rest. Not once have any of them even dropped by to check on me once. One of them when she found out I was preg the first time didn't say congrats or I'm sorry when she found out I lost it. So I get a text asking what day I'm planning on doing the brunch? Seriously??? So you don't feel the need to come check on me after my surgery, you know I've had 3 Mc's and now you want me to cook a brunch for you to come over and eat and drink mimosas (btw I do all the cooking and have flowing mimosas and poinsettias).

I'm not going to be a bitch about it and still do it just in January but Damit I'm pissed!!!!

@happyhour73. Maybe we just need to have a bump brunch. I'd be glad to cook and serve alcohol for all of y'all.

I had a shitty night at work. The whole day was fine and went by quickly until the very very very end. I stayed two hours late...

I'm late, but I'm adding mine anyway.

1. I drove from central South Dakota to St. Louis, MO to meet up/drop off my kids with my mom. She is taking them back to GA, where they will spend Christmas. I have to work. and FI's grandma is still being crazy, so I decided they should go somewhere where they will have a great Christmas. I have never spent a Christmas w/o my kids OR the rest of my family. I cried most of the way home.

2. Speaking of the drive home... I got caught in the winter storm, Gemini. It took 8 hours to get from St. Louis to Kansas City, and this was the morning after the storm. Slush everywhere. I counted a total of 45 wrecked cars on the sides of I-70. It fucking sucked.

3. I'm almost certain I ovulated yesterday (waiting on confirmation temps) but I haven't had sex since Wednesday. Not happening this cycle.

Thanks @jaytee16, @drzoid and @beckynsean11. I can't get too bent out of shape yet, as I am equally as likely to not O at all! Also, just happy for Christmas!!!
