Brutally honest opinion needed please. - Update to inappropriate boots.

Please settle an argument. Are these boots appropriate for a 9 year old girl?

Edit - thanks everyone! Dh bought these for sd and I think they are so so very inappropriate but bm and dh disagree with me. I just wanted unbiased opinions before I reevaluate my life and ideals. Lol

AND they were $75....

Update: I did, in fact, win this argument. Dh said that he was "on the fence" about whether they were appropriate or not. I said that "on the fence" is practically the same as no, not appropriate. BM style is trashy and really we could not be more different. SD can't even walk in them and mostly because of that they are going back to the store. Plus dh feels bad because he totally threw me under the bus, he called sd in and said "Kayla thinks these aren't appropriate for you, what do you think?" (even though she knew that her mom had ok'd these at this point) *insert nut punch*. So after much discussion about age appropriate wear for a child, the boots are going back even though I'm the bad guy for it. I just can't feel comfortable about it. Thanks for everyone's thoughts.... I seriously though that maybe I was just being a fuddy-duddy about it.

I find it fulgy personally...but as far as the heel goes...they make "pumps" for little girls now. DD1 has been begging for them. Sadly she walks better in her dress up heels than mommy does in real ones. These are able to fit a 5/6yr old.

Bit of a bold statement, don't you think?

As an adult, you can choose to cultivate any image you like, while certain clothes, cosmetics, et al on children are both inappropriate and damaging to their esteem and perception.

Meanwhile, you might appreciate shoe-manufacturers who produce "wide" varieties of shoes, including flats.

Some people enjoy heels. Let's not banish something for one person's dislike.
