What baby items have you already purchased?

Already had the bed, it was mine. Someone is giving me their daughts old mattress for it. I was already redoing a dresser, so have that. The only thing I have bought is the stroller and carseat. (They snap together) A friend was selling hers. It is only 8 months old and a $600 set for $200. I couldn't pass it up.

We have had 3 friends offer to throw us baby showers after we announced. I'm sure we will have one or two but I'm not solely relying on that.

I have this coupon, too! Haven't used it yet, though. Probably will soon. I also bought a ring sling on Cyber Monday, and some VT onesies when we went to a football game.

And, ladies!!! Maternity pants! Why do we not wear these all the time! They're like professional yoga pants!!

I actually just bought two things yesterday. A bib that says daddy loves me for my hubby to open on Christmas and a onesie for my sister to open that says I love my aunt. Other than that... Nothing. Still so overwhelmed.

I'm 16w3d and we've only gotten a cute little military onesie so far. We have nothing left from DS and DD.. So starting all over. We've looked at the bigger items.. But I'm afraid to commit to anything just yet.

I'm almost 16w and we haven't bought anything. Sadly we have a few items that we bought or that other people gave us with prior pregnancies but those all ended in losses. I have most of that stuff hidden away and I'm afraid to take it out, like it will somehow jinx us. I did get the pregnancy books out though. I think once we get through the anatomy scan we will start purchasing stuff. I plan to start researching things soon and putting together a list.

I've had offers for 3 showers, one where I live thrown by family, one at work, and one in another state where I used to live ( I still have a bunch of friends down there). I am considering not doing a shower at all. I just feel like no one really wants to waste a day of their weekend watching me open a bunch of presents. But we'll see.

14wks 5days- nothing yet. Waiting until our 20wk U/S where we will find out the gender. This is our second, but they will be 5.5yrs apart and in different seasons. So, I will need clothes no matter if it's a boy again or a girl. However, we have pretty much everything else except car seat, stroller, crib and bedding. So not worrying about it yet.

I'm 15w and haven't bought anything. We have a car seat/stroller system packed away from DD (she will be almost 9 when this baby comes) but that's it. I lost my job about a month ago, so funds are pretty tight at the moment.

I've bought 3 onesies since finding out. We've also started to buy diapers. We probably will be having a shower since this is the first grand child/ niece/nephew for both sets of families so a cousin or my sister will probably throw one. I know my sister bought me baby stuff for Christmas, but we'll see. Luckily lots of people have offered hand me downs on furniture which will save us a lot of money. I bought my first onesie at around 6 weeks cuz it was on sale and it made it feel real for me. I also plan on hitting up semi annual sales for neutral items or boy and girl clothing (and returning what I don't need) since we find out in 6 weeks or so what we're having.

I made my first purchase today. It is a baby Seahawks jersey that matches my husbands! I can't wait to give it to him on Christmas from the baby.

I was so excited I bought the baby ka'tan last night at target it was on clearance so it was $25 then 10% because of the weekend and then 5% off with the target debt card. You ladies should check to see if it's on clearance at your target.

So far I bought nothing practical. We found out its a girl, so I bought an adorable pack of hair bows and a pink "I love daddy" MAM binky. This is my second, so I already have a nursery set & baby gear that my 8 year old boy grew out of.

We bought a Bumbleride stroller and the carrycot bassinet that attaches to it. The deal was too good to pass up. Everything else we have right now is passed down/Christmas gifts for her.

I'm 14 weeks and so far we've purchased a crib from a friend. I wanted a used one so we can sand and paint it the color we want! I've also got a few neutral onsies since we don't know the sex of our baby and I've started purchasing what I need for cloth diapering. We plan on buying our travel system and rocker with our income tax.
I completely understand about the baby shower. I just moved several months ago to Texas with my husbands family. Don't know many people an all my family is in Nashville so lord knows they won't make it. BUT we've decided to do a coed baby shower to make it more enjoyable. And it'll mostly be my husbands family and long time friends who are slowly but surely becoming friends of mine as well

I've been in school as well so there's been no time for we friendships really!
