Okay, so I've noticed that a ton of you and your SO's are high school sweethearts, and it got me thinking about how many that might be. To me that's amazing. What kind if sweethearts are you and your SO?

My H is 4 years older than me, but we met the summer before my sophomore year in college. So...I was in college, and eventually he moved in with me in the college town lol but I dont think it would be college sweethearts.

We met about a year after high school. He worked a a mortgage firm (and hated his job) and I had just got back from a crazy month long roadtrip up the west coast (I was a bit of a hippy) and was living out of my car. I literally met him the day I got back. He let me stay at his house that night, and the next day we went on a picnic and decided we really liked each other. I moved in with him the next day ("moved in" just meaning I brought my suitcase inside, like I said, I was living out of my car at the time) and never left. Crazy story, but we've been together 8 years and married for 5, so it worked for us. Haha!

*I was not a homeless jobless crazy person living in a van down by the river. Simply a free spirited young "hippy" chick on the roadtrip of my life. Hahaha!

Technically DH and I met online - I had an extra concert ticket to a band we're both fanatic about. Posted this on craigslist and he bought it. We met a month later at the concert, watched it together and went out on a date the following weekend.

We met while I was in grad school when my brother came to visit and brought his friend with him. I was dating someone then, but couldn't help but notice how sexy my brother's friend was. When I moved back closer to my family, I hung out with my brother and friends and got to know this guy better. He was there to witness a couple of my disastrous dating relationships! After some time went by, we started flirting, then dating, then fell in love. I cannot imagine my life without this wonderful man!

We met through mutual friends well after college. I can't imagine being with someone since high school or even college, I think of who i was then and who I am now and it's a very different person. I needed a long time to mature into an adult I guess, I'm glad I had lots of single years to do that.
