I'd love to hear from moms of girls or those expecting baby girls what their name choices are.

I love Maxine Jane but DH said absolutely not

right now our top choice is Kyle Catherine "K.C." But I'm just not 100%

Our top choices are Cecilia, Norah, Adelaide, and Amelia. We're still wishy-washy on middle names, but once we find out the sex (Jan. 3rd, hopefully!), we'll work from there.

jk. We had tons of girls names that we loved. The boys names are so much more difficult!!!

If this LO was a girl, we would have named her Charlotte, Cecily, or Felicity most likely.
There were so many names that we liked it was just a matter of choosing one!

I love girlie names. Megan, Penny, etc.

I love the names Cassidy and Savanah. DH vetoed those early in then we found out we're having a boy anyway

I like Kyle Catherine with KC for short. It's cute without being too cute for an adult. Though I do know some women with typically male first names who hate the assumptions they get that they are boys - think first day of school or an interview

We have a little lady on the way and our top 2 names are Dixie and Bobbie. All the kids around here are called Emily, Grace, Ruby or Poppy so we need something different. When we say her name in public, we don't want 5 girls to come running!

Our little girl will be Hayley.

We also considered Felicity, Samantha, Kira, Keeva, Charlotte, Margaret, Jane. DH really wanted Luna or Amethyst which I nixed. I really wanted Calliope and Wren, which he nixed.

I go by Sam and my Moms name is Kyle so the assumptions don't bother me too much because I grew up with it

Girls names are harder for me for some reason. MN will be Annabelle, after my MIL. I've always liked the name Scarlett but it's too popular now for my taste. We currently like Helena or Evangeline but neither of them feel like "the one"

We are having a boy BUT our girl name was Daisy Claire (after his grandmother). Which I love, love, love. It has a lot of meaning to both of us. We are holding onto it for the future baby girl we will HOPEFULLY have.

I go by Sam as well. Never bothered me except when people called me Sam-I-Am.
