First Ultrasound!

We had our first ultrasound this week and it was amazing! Got to see my little Blip's (little inside name until we find out the sex of our baby) heart beat! It was beautiful. I am 8 weeks and 4 days...To put the cherry on top, we found out that our due date is July 27, 2014, which will be our first wedding anniversary. What a blessing

Any other mommies to be out there have their first ultrasound? How did the experience make you feel?

First u/s was earlier than yours and with quite startling news... twins..... One heartbeat but it's early. I was solo to this appt, and told hubby afterwards and it was shocking! Seeing the heartbeat was amazing, and the whole appointment prior to the actual u/s was stressful and nerve wracking! Congrats on your big milestone!

Had our first one yesterday! I think the best part was seeing the look on my husband's face when he heard the heartbeat. For him, it really made it sink in. For me, it's seemed real since the beginning of the morning sickness and fatigue lol. What a mind blowing experience though...

I had my 1st ultrasound today. I found out I was 6 weeks 4 days. We saw our little "bean" and got to see the flutter of the heart beat. I cried my eyes out (with excitement of course) and my husband was totally amazed by it. It was such a mind blowing experience!

Hey Erin0303. We just found out this week that we're having twins too! DH turned a little pale at first, but we'd told the doctor before that we played the "guess how many babies" game with our 3-year-old. She said 3, then changed her mind to 2 the day of the appointment. Well, we could already see there was more than one, and my doctor's first comment was "actually, she's clairvoyant.". So our minds immediately jumped to triplets until she said twins. You could see their teeny tiny little arms and legs on the ultrasound.

I'm having my first ultrasound today (in a couple hours, actually!). I'm nine weeks along, and we'll be due a few weeks before our first anniversary.

Baby looks great!!! Arms and legs were moving quite a lot which was a fun surprise! My DH was so mushy gushy about it! For some reason my phone won't load the pic

@dmurrie.... What a crazy experience to see two sacs! I go back in 2 weeks to see if there's a hb on baby B... Baby A looks great but it's still early. Were your sacs comparable in size and growth?

They measured the same size. My Dr. Didn't say any think about heartbeats yet, and we were too shocked to ask. I follow up in a month. It was crazy seeing the two of them! Although I had suspected it a bit and we'd been joking about it. I feel so much more tired and so much larger than I did at this point with my DD.

My sacs are disproportionate slightly, one has heartbeat, yolk sac, good gestational sac.... Baby B has fetal pole, both sacs, but no heartbeat....yet? U/s was at 6w1 day, so OB said possible viability but she's unsure. Because if the holidays I have to wait another week, and I can barely stand nit knowing what I'm up against. 2...1.....0? I wan a crystal ball.

Had my first last Monday at six weeks, two days. Saw and heard the heartbeat. Amazing.
