    Team: Blue!

    Updates/Appts: Appt with MFM on Monday where they're doing a BPP. Then an NST and appt with my regular OB on Thursday. Then induction December 29th!

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO? Driving around to see the lights, getting new pajamas on Christmas eve and a new book to read before bed

    Weeks: 38 weeks and I can't believe it! (The picture of a pumpkin on my ticker really freaks me out, that is just too big!)

    I really want to do the new PJs on Christmas Eve each year, then drive around looking at Christmas lights :)

    Updates/Appts: At my last appointment (12/17) my OB was displeased with my weight (I don't gain well on a low carb GD diet), and ordered a growth scan to make sure baby is doing ok. Had the u/s yesterday and LO is now measuring 2 weeks behind (was previously around a week behind) and my fluid level is at the low end of normal. The good news is that baby looks proportional and isn't small enough to be concerned about IUGR at this point. I'm a little concerned, but not to the freaking out stage. I do know that if my OB still wants to induce at 39 weeks due to GD I will respectfully decline unless they feel that it will be better for baby's growth to evict him or her early. My next appointment is Christmas Eve and we'll talk about what our next step should be.

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO? This year we took DS to a Chrismas tree farm to pick out and cut our own tree. It was really fun, and the first time that DH had ever had a real Christmas tree (his parents always did fake). I'd like to continue that with this LO.

    Updates/Appts: Went to dr on Thursday and i'm a fingertip dilated, 50% effaced.  Shit just got real

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO? I want to bake cookies with my kids while Christmas music is blaring in the background.  I also want to go look at lights and have hot chocolate while we drive around.

    Updates/Appts: Nothing until Dec 30th!

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO? We'll stick with the ones we have I think.  We have family get togethers from each side, and make chocolates with "all the girls" - my sisters and my brothers girlfriends. We may start something new, but not until next year and then we'll see.

    Updates/Appts:  36-week appointment coming up on Monday!

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO?  This year, DD1 is loving to see Christmas lights.  We took her on a 'Christmas Light Safari' the other night, and she'd been begging to go every night since.  I hope DD2 likes them as much, because this will definitely have to be a yearly experience!

    Updates/Appts: absolutely no dilation.  I have no hope that a VBAC will be possible.  My body just can't seem to figure out what to do.

    GTKY: he or she will join in on the traditions we've already established for DD: elf on the shelf, baking cookies, driving around to look at lights, etc.

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO? Would like to start a Christmas Eve tradition.  Maybe opening one gift of new PJ's, having hot cocoa, and watching a holiday movie.  Also baking cookies for Santa

    Updates/Appts: OB appointment on Monday.  I'm sick so I've been MIA for 3 days!  I feel like I have so much to catch up on.  Today is DH's last day of work and then he will be off with me for 7 weeks! 

    GKTY- What Christmas or Holiday tradition will you start with your LO?  Oh there are so many!  I would love to incorporate a giving/charitable/volunteer event each year.  I also want a special time with just our nuclear family.

    35 Weeks Today!!!

    Team Green

    Had my latest appointment on Wednesday.  The baby has hair already and is weighing in at around 5 Pounds 8 ounces.  Everything looks great!!!

    I have absolutely no idea about Christmas Traditions so far…..I would love to get up home every Christmas and spend time with family…That would be awesome! I miss snow!!!
