Definitely stay hydrated. My OB told me to call them if I got the Flu, as the Flu is not something to mes around with while pregnant. They did say that Tamaflu is OK to take while pregnant, so you might want to check with your doctor.

At my last appointment, is was highly recommended to get the flu shot. I'm not a fan of getting, and only got it once before when in nursing school and it was required. However, DH is going to be away for 2 weeks in China and should probably get the flu vaccination, among others, so maybe that'll convince me to get one this year, though it sounds like they may not have including this year's strain(s) in the vaccine if you caught it. Feel better!
Stay hydrated, keep an eye in your fever and get lots of rest. The fever is the most concerning part. Hopefully since you got the shot your flu symptoms will not be as bad as they could've been.
Yup. I had it, and I got the shot the beginning of October. I was diagnosed the Monday after Thanksgiving, and couldn't get Tamiflu as it had been more than 3 days since the onset of the symptoms. I'm still battling the exhaustion, headaches, cough, and sore throat. Basically, the fever is gone. Lol. For me, without the tamiflu, I was out of commission for over a week. All four of us got it. It was bad. Stay hydrated, call if your fever continually spikes (that's what I had to do; my OB said if it reached a certain temp, I'd be admitted), and take it easy. I really hope you feel better!!
seriously i dont want to get it!Iv'e had the flu shot too i work with sick people and i heard this years flu is bad! i hope you feel better stay hydrated for sure
