@Ashbromle, I actually started at UMD and then transferred to Stony Brook on Long Island (I grew up on LI)...any chance you went to Stony?

I know I have some of the camping trip where DH asked me out 5.5yrs ago but this one will have to do.
This was the week before Christmas 2008 the night DH proposed. He told me to dress up for our dinner date. Apparently we have different definitions of dressing up >.> But to my credit, I was dressed more appropriately for where we went!

These are great! This is DH and me at a party at my apt in 2006/7 when we just started dating, and one of my, my oldest, best friend, and my little sister in probably about 1987 (I'm rocking the purple leotard and red headband).

One is dh and i before dating. We were roommates, and he came out to see my drum corps at finals in Rochester with my parents. We were being goofy here, my mom took this pic.

Second was me in high school on senior dress up day (retro). I'm on the right. No idea why it's so small.

@2012ames, what corps did you march for? I never marched but used to work for a drum corps.

Junior corps: vagabonds (div 3), senior corps: buccaneers. Got to help out with cadets one summer too, that was fun. Nothing too exciting, cooking meals and running errands. ;-p. My main instrument was flute so i was just happy to be involved. In vagabonds I was in the pit, bucs i played baritone. Met my hubby in our college drumline the year after i aged out.

which corps did you work with?

I always wish I'd done guard. I have a fond love of dancing that only arrived after it was too late for me to learn how.

I love seeing all the pics! I think I burned the hs ones. Horrible.
This is dh and I after we got hitched in 2005. I cut off all my wedding hair and died it bright red! And in 2009 with dd1. Then my Evie (today), who looks so much like her older sister!

This was taken on DH's 21st birthday, when we had been dating less than 2 weeks. Summer of 2004. He told me he loved me that night but I brushed him off as being drunk and hoped he wouldn't remember! Apparently he did remember but we were both too embarrassed to talk about it for a long time. Now he swears he really meant it and knew he loved me even that early. I guess I believe him
