Has anyone flown with a baby on United Airlines? XP

I want info just for this airline since I know it varies (I have flown Southwest with him).

If I have already added him to my reservation (over the phone) can I just check in with the regular online check in counters, or do I need to do something special and use the full service counters?  I ask since I am flying out of Dulles tomorrow and the United Full Service counters are a nightmare there, the lines!

If I can bypass that and just check in like I normally would in the online check in/eticker counters and check my bags and his car seat there that would save us A LOT of time.

Thanks!

  • We flew united internationally and used the machines. I just had to scan their passports. I realize you won't be doing that for a domestic flight, but I think you'll be ok to just use the machine. Have a good flight!
