Change user name?

Is there a way to change your user name that displays below your avatar? (sinisforgiven on mine)

Or is this permanent unless you create a new account?

@lavitasimpson all you have to do is email community@thebump.com and tell them to please change your username. Make sure you give them a few suggestions just in case one is taken. With number one of course being your fav.

Sorry to add to an old thread, but since this is a top hit when googling this issue and the thread left it unresolved, I thought I'd answer the question.

You can easily log in on theknot.com -- using your thebump.com info -- and under "My Account" there is an option right there to change your username. Not sure why "My Account" on thebump doesn't have the same option, but since all the sites are linked, you can just change your usename on theknot and it will automatically update on thebump (and thenest, etc.).

For me, it just keeps saying this uername is invalid or already in use. I even used a mumbo-jumbo combo of letters and numbers (which I'm sure is not in use) and got the same message.

I couldn't figure out how to change my name on here so I eventually just made a new account as I did not like my full name being out there. I tried to do it on thebump.com plus and the app and I just couldn't get it to do it. Making a new account and not using my full name seemed like the only resolution for me at the time.
