This is a spin off if the gtky thread. I saw people mentioned both options.
This has been a topic this week between my DH and I. Mine were always unwrapped and I remember it being so exciting to walk into the living room and see the gifts ready to play with. DH had his wrapped though. Needless to say, we do not agree on what to do for LO
I wrap everything. Mainly because my dogs love unwrapping presents (more like ripping the wrapping paper into shreds). My older dog is diabetic, so we can't buy any treats and he doesn't like toys so, ripping open others' presents is our christmas gift to him.
We always ran to look first and ten ran into my parents room screaming "Santa came! Santa came! I got...." Chloe does the exact same thing now. It is so much fun!
I'm so surprised! I thought everybody wrapped gifts! Part of the thrill of Christmas morning was patiently waiting while my dad handed out gifts to be unwrapped one by one.

What?! Patient?! We had four crazy daughters in my house. Wrapping paper was flying everywhere. We didn't even know what the other sisters got sometimes for a few days when we saw what they were wearing or playing with that was new.
All the gifts were from Santa in our house and they were all wrapped. Though I really want to switch to the unwrapped camp for ease of the night before on the parents...
Our presents were always all wrapped. It kept the surprises coming over an extended time which I always thought was fun. We also always opened one present at a time and watched what everyone else opened. Christmas morning went on for hours in our house growing up.
I think we will do a bit of both. Presents that need assembled will be left unwrapped and preassembled, whereas presents like Barbie dolls will be wrapped.
All gifts were wrapped. And all gifts were from Santa too. No mommy and daddy gifts at mine or dhs house.
This is how it was at my house. No gifts from the parents. My husband's Santa gifts were unwrapped. His gifts from mom & dad were wrapped. He says we are wrapping gifts for LO.

Holy! That looks like fun. I wouldn't know where to start.
Our santa used to leave one maybe two unwrapped big presents and then a stocking. Little gifts were wrapped from my parents.
