I ordered from Minted this year instead of our usual tiny prints or shutterfly. They were a little pricey but it is LOs first christmas and my husband is a fantastic photographer so we always save money on professional pics. I kind of justified it that way. The cards came the day after thanksgiving and the design/words were completely off center. I have literally been going back and forth with the company since then. They admitted the error and promised me at least 7 times I would get the cards the next day, blah blah. Finally, yesterday I called and spoke to a supervisor who told me that the reprints weren't even processed! I asked for my money back which they agreed to. I resigned myself to the cards being less than stellar and sadly spent the next two hours stuffing, stamping and sealing the lousy cards. I then bundled up both my kids and walked with them a 1/2 mile as it was snowing to the post office.
Today I get a tracking number for the reprints that are scheduled for delivery today. Arrrgghhh! Had the customer service people had any sort of clue and just told me they were coming I would have waited one more day! Now all my friends and family have an eh card and I am going to have to toss 100 perfect cards in the garbage. ( well I will save the nice one for his baby book I guess).
Long story short- don't use that company.

UGH!!! that SUCKS. So sorry.
Maybe this will make you feel better - I didn't wind up with too many good pics of LO for Christmas Cards..... The one I loved was a tad blurry but after hemming and hawing with DH we both agreed to go with it. $100 later - with a tiny prints order complete - they showed up yesterday. I really don't love them. The picture isn't great and I think the color is way off from how itl ooked on the screen. But I figure no one else will really care or notice, and welp - I've got many years to perfect the right card moving forward.
This AM I hear my husband bitching and moaning complete with F bombs carrying on about how bad the cards look. are you flucking kidding me??? sometimes I think I married a girl
