Birth control usually puts a hurtin on mine. But, since H got a vasectomy, I don't need any. Plus, being able to do it worry free definitely makes it more fun too. I will agree that time and tired aren't always working in my favor, but we do it anyway. Lol.
It's gone, and I don't know when it's coming back hahahaha. My method of bc is the mini pill so I've been backing it up with the "don't effin touch me" method
It's very much there, but I have @)#($*@# $ vaginismus (when you try to have sex and your body is like AWW HELL NO and it hurts). It's almost 6 months postpartum and I've been trying to get a gyno appointment since 4 months to address the issue, but my family doctor doesn't care and I'm not sure he actually sent the requisition.
I don't think that the medical establishment really believes that women like to have sex, because when I told the nurse about this she was all, "now when you start, you will need lube and patience because it will hurt--hurting is normal, and it's NORMAL not to want to do it, but it's just as well because you're probably tired from getting up every few hours and doing everything for the baby, and hubby doesn't understand that, right? So you have a little break before you get pregnant again, LOLwink!" When in fact DH does over half the (combo) feedings and half the baby care and LO sleeps through the night, and we'd just like to )@(#$*#@ have sexytimes!
So low. I am breastfeeding so I don't want him near my boobs. I am exhausted because he's still not sttn. I usually get a 2 minute shower so my legs and lady bits are never well dealt with. Andplusalso, I have a clingy teething baby. By the time he goes to sleep, I just want some personal space.
My sex drive is alive and strong...it's SO's that's non existent. He says he's always stressed and tired (money problems and he works long hours being an AT&T tech). And it doesn't help that we are constantly getting up with Grayson if he isn't sleeping in the swing in our room. Hopefully we get back into the groove soon!
It's there and active. We're both getting our needs met
Ditto. I've been lucky with nursing twice now that it doesn't put the damper on things. Though sometimes I want to show him threads like this to remind him how damn lucky he is!
Btw I often feel exactly like @cricket81 before we DTD but I am always happy once we're in the zone. I also have given up on caring about my grooming because he doesn't seem to mind and would rather get some than be preoccupied with that! It's also usually fast and I sleep better afterwards so I chalk it up to helping with sleep issues!
I definitely found my mojo again! My husband was shooting like 1 for 20 in that department until recently. I love his tenacity though and I completely agree with @wasnotwas that being a good dad is a turn on.. And doing stuff around the house. "You took the trash out without me asking???" *swooooooon* :x
It is not as great as it was prebaby/prepregnancy. I still enjoy and try to keep it up but I just have a hard time feeling sexy after baby. The other night when we were about to get busy, my husband asked what was wet on my shirt and I realized I had some of K's poop smeared on me. Definitely not feeling too sexy after that.
Don't know why but just now when I read this thread title I started singing "oh where, oh where can my sex drive be, my baby took it away from me" (sung just like oh where oh where can my baby be, The Lord took her away from me.... She's gone to heaven so I've got to be good so I can see my baby when I leave this world)
