So, I was expecting some miracle to occur when I reached the 2nd tri that I would have this burst of energy. Yeah, it didn't happen. I can barely make it through 8 hours of work some days. Anyone else feeling like this?
I have been really good this 2nd tri up until this past week. For some reason I'm exhausted! I'm blaming it on winter blues/no sun/holiday shopping and stress! I wonder why I live in Wisconsin these days.
I had been feeling really good and on Sunday it came back with a vengeance. I went out to Peet's to study for a final and I came home an hour later and told my DH "I don't know what's wrong with me, I need a nap right now." and he was like, "You're pregnant...?" Oh yeah, that.
Same here! I was doing great and this week I've napped every afternoon (I work 6-2). I'm 20wks and thought I would be golden but nope, no energy. I'm also a thirst monster

Depends in the day and how active I was at work. I teach k so some days I'm on my feet a lot running around, cleaning making copies, just normal stuff but it drains me quick. Other days aren't as bad. Yesterday I came home and fell asleep on the couch at 630 woke up at 1030ish and just went to bed. It felt great.

So glad to hear I'm not the only one! I'm exhausted! And the insomnia surely isn't helping.
My diet still isn't the best, due to continuing food aversions, so I started thinking today that maybe it's anemia? Or, maybe it's normal and I'm a hypochondriac
Still exhausted here and I still am getting seriously sick thank you very much Hyperemesis. Maybe the silver lining is that all this exhaustion will mean we will be able to sleep in the 3rd trimester. I remember that was really hard last time
The last few weeks I've had a few days of great energy (although I think it's probably just the same as pre-pregnancy energy, it just feels like a lot in comparison). But it's always followed by a few days of dragging ass. Hopefully the good days will become more frequent soon.
I feel like I got a little bit of energy back but not much. I'm not crawling into bed as soon as I get home work anymore but by the time supper is done my eyes are pretty droopy.
I felt like I was maybe moving into the more energy phase but then I fell asleep after dinner at 5:30...and yes I eat dinner at an early hour as if I was 80 years old.
Re: Still tired?
I hate that you other mommas are feeling as sluggish as me, but at least we know we're alone.
