Medicine pacifiers

I can't get LO to take liquid meds at all. Any small amount I put in his mouth gets spit right back out. We're still fighting a terrible yeast skin rash on his neck and it bothers him a ton. He wants to constantly itch it. I do my best to distract him but sometimes I feel he may need the benedryl (prescribed by doc.) I saw online that there are pacifiers you can put medicine into... and hten they suck it out. This seems like it could be a huge concern for choking as LO has never had anything "come out" of a paci before. Anyone with experience here?

    We use one for his Zantac twice daily. I think of it less as a paci and more as a tiny bottle. No choking issues, as he FF's normally so it's no biggie. We mix a little formula in there and he takes it like a champ. I'm mobile or I'd post a link. It's munchkin brand, and I believe we got it from diapers.com.

    We use the medicine cup with a bottle nipple on top. Zoey hated taking her meds because they tasted bad so until she got used to the flavor we mixed it with gripe water and she took it without problem!

    Love ours ! It is definitely like a tiny bottle versus a paci . It does not matter how I use the syringe or blow on her nose or quick place the paci ... She still spits out her meds so the mini bottle as I call it works great. I still use the syringe for proper measure , transfer to the little bottle , turn it upside down so the medicine fills the nipple and baby girl sucks it down.

    Perfect thank you! Think ill try the trick of blowing on his nose tonight. If that doesn't work then the bottle/paci sounds good.
