fell down the stairs :-(

I misstepped and fell/slide down on my back a few carpet'd steps, I feel okay & the baby is moving, but I did leak on the way down pretty sure it was just pee from weak bladder becuz my water can't break from falling down stairs... right? I'm outta town but there is a hospital I could go to if I had to. Any suggestions??

Your water could possibly break from falling down stairs.

I'd call my doctor and ask for advice, and be ready to head to a hospital with a good NICU.

I would call the doctor, and probably go to whatever L&D is closest. I fell down the stairs not to long ago, and although I landed on my back, my doctor STILL sent me in.

I hope you and LO are ok! This must be a common thing because I fell down the stairs last week. Wooden ones

LO and I are fine but you should see the bruises on my back and butt!

Please call your dr. A fall (big or small) is a reason to call your dr. Better safe than sorry. FX it's only pee.

Ouch! Wooden stairs are the worst! I was shocked that I fell down carpeted stairs but I was wearing socks also

This far in the pregnancy- I would, at the very least, consult with doctor like others commented. So sorry you took a tumble- happened to me at about 20 weeks when I passed out on the stairs (also fell backwards). I still went to urgent care and followed up with the baby doc. Hope all is okay!

I'm at L & D they have 2 monitors on my belly, & having me push button whenever he moves/kicks they will be taking a test later too to see if it was my water that broke or not

I fell on Thanksgiving and gave myself a black eye and busted lip. I called my doctor and they said the first 4 hours is the most important. If you have cramps or bleeding go to ER. Definitely call your doctor to make sure though.
