TMI...discharge after sex?

I had some bleeding two weeks ago and was put on pelvic rest. My husband and I had sex for the first time since we found out I was pregnant yesterday morning. Today I had some super thick discharge. It was very light color and slightly brown. Is this normal? Anyone else? I'm 8w 2d!

    I don't think so....wouldn't that have come out yesterday? Plus is was a lot thicker than semen.

    We get a thicker white pregnancy discharge, that is totally normal, albeit a bit gross. The brown sounds like a little blood in there as well, from what I've read the cervix in extra sensitive and sex can sometimes cause light spotting. I would mention it to dr just to be safe if I were you.

    Thanks! It's gone now. So I feel a lot better. I didn't know if the sex is what brought it on.

    Totally normal. Unless you see bright red , then call your OB with how much.
