LOL that one with Anne Hathaway/Linda Blair is SO me sometimes!! Hahahaha
I couldn't agree with you more lol. Its almost like a switch! I was laying in bed last night and was smiling, and laughing. All of a sudden I looked over and noticed there were soda bottles from my SO on the nightstand that I asked him to clean and he didn't, and it was world war 3 lmao.
I totally agree with this list, especially #2 and #8. I've got more important things to worry about in the first few weeks/months of motherhood than being sure that I'm back in my pre-pregnancy jeans already. Of course I want to get back in shape, but I'm smart enough to know it's not going to happen overnight!
All of you are so right. The best one I have received yet was one from my oh so darling sister in law who is the know it all of all pregnant women since she has been pregnant three times.
I was expressing to my mother that I was nervous to give birth and be alone so soon after doing so (because my SO has to go back to work a couple of days after) So I asked her if she could take maybe a week off to stay home just in case I were to need help with something. My sister in law overheard me saying this, and quickly put her two cent in by saying "Your a big girl, you got pregnant, I didn't have my mom stay home with me and I was just fine, even with having a C-section. Suck it up"
If I could have, I think I would have punched her in the face.
OMG, I hate the "get used to not sleeping" comment, along with "well you better sleep now." Yea, great, I'm TRYING. In general I hate any and all comments about impending doom... "you better do what you want to do now because you will NEVER AGAIN."
I know, it's going to be hard. Guess what? Pregnancy is not really my favorite either. So shut it.
