My baby shower was yesterday. Turnout was small-13 people or so. But many gifts were sent from other people that weren't able to attend. All in all, it was a good day! Here are a few of the pictures I have so far!

My mom's friends threw a small shower for me this weekend and I loved the cake. It went with our travel theme nursery

Still no luck coming up with a name, but the food was great. The best was a Rachel Ray recipe for puff pastry with Brie, pepperoni, and sundried tomato paste baked in. Yum!

I had my shower yesterday but don't have the pictures back yet from friends. It was an owl theme and small but wonderful. I felt so spoiled because we received so many amazing gifts! I will add pics once I have some!

No pictures yet but had my second shower yesterday thanks to DHs colleagues - totally fun co-ed gathering with beautiful weather, ~30 people, home brew for the crowd & Italian sodas for the expecting (2 others besides me due in April & July), an amazing spread of Meditteranean eats, and lots of thoughtful gifts. Feeling very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful & supportive community!

Didn't post after the family & friends event organized by SILs the previous weekend but that was also amazing - 20 gals + a collection of LOs, huge catered spread of Mexican food, lots of awesome female energy and some truly amazing gifts. Highlighting the latter: a cheery communal quilt organized by long-time college friends, a mohair knit blanket made by MIL, and another bright & happy quilt from my mom... Our girl has some real treasures and a whole lot of love already! Can't wait to introduce her to everyone next year

I only had 4 of my RSVPs actually show up to my shower but I at least had a great time with my hostesses!! Hopefully you were able to still have a fun day!!

It looks like a lot of love went into organizing things and despite the turnout, you must have some great people in your life to put together something so beautiful! Sorry it wasn't as well attended as it deserved to be - maybe the chaos of the holiday season just made things difficult... Sending a hug!

Had my shower this afternoon & I was prepared for a low turnout as it was very last minute invites. But we had about 15 people & it was so pretty. Plus, they made me sherbet punch cause I'd been craving it.

That so sucks that so many people RSVPed but didn't show! Your hostesses look like they put a lot of work into it, too. People get flakey around the holidays, but that's no excuse. If it's any consolation, the pictures look beautiful!

I had my shower yesterday and it was great. My aunt hosted and did a wonderful job. We had a lot of no shows but just got out first winter snow so roads weren't the best. I am super appreciative that so many came out to celebrate with us still!
