And it went fabulously. Love at first sight. Sorry it's so grainy. It's actually a photo of the real photo from my Ipod. And to top it off, @drea926 was there to share the day. Winning!!!
Oh, I am jealous!! We ended up bringing DD for a picture with Santa at the firehouse where FIL and BIL volunteer. As I suspected would be the case, it did not go nearly so well:
Not that I can really blame her. I was terrified of Santa as a baby too, I think I was at least 5 before I would actually take a picture with him!
Oh, no! But even those shots have their own unique charm I was fully prepared for the slow meltdown once I walked away. He was just so enamored with all the sights and sounds, I think. It was a super sweet Santa, too. I went to take DS back and pick the shots I wanted, and he actually asked if he could keep holding him while I viewed my photos.

What a sweet santa!
Cute pic! And it is great to have a good Santa. Ours that we normally go to is terrible. He doesn't talk to the kids, and was really annoyed that dd kicked him last year. Not that I think the kick was ok ( it was while flailing, not to be mean) but he's Santa,he has to expect it.
