I must be super emotional because seeing that girl's face makes me want to cry for her. I want to scoop her up and comfort her from what just happened. Then I want to punch that mother in the face.
I have witnessed some pretty terrible parenting; I worked at a major amusement park for close to 10 years, and am amazed at what some parents put their children through. I thought I had seen it all. This tops it all. That poor little girl.
That's horrible how could her mom do that to that poor baby girl! I have two girls and they both have cut their hair! I think almost every child does it at some point and time. I would slap that mom if I knew her! Common sense???
I am so sad for that little girl. Not only for having to go through this, but odds are that nothing will get through to the mom that what she did was totally awful. I hate to think what would happen to her when she does something that's actually misbehaving and not just experimenting like all kids do. I hope a friend, family member, or possibly someone at her school/daycare reports this - who knows what else is going on in that house that isn't posted on FB.
WTF.Seriously what the hell is wrong with her? I remember cutting my own hair as a kid. I did a bad job and my mom had to cut it really short but she never made me fell bad about it. That lady doesn't deserve to have kids.
My daughter got ahold of a pair of scissors when she was like 3 or 4. She cut one side of her hair. Lol, she came out of her bedroom, holding the scissors, and said "mommy, I want to cut my hair." I couldn't help but laugh and say, "I think you already did!" I just took her to the salon to get it evened up. And I put the scissors up high where she couldn't get to them again. Seriously, how hard was that?
