More exciting present - an indoor bike stand that he can mount his road bike on to ride during the winter.
February Siggy Challenge - Picture of You and DH. Us with our engagement pumpkins. DH carved each word of "Will You Marry Me" and the date 10/11/12 into five dfferent pumpkins.
I got him a new wallet, a pair of Polo pajama pants, a shaving kit from "The Art of Shaving", and a little goofy gift that has to do with baby. I was feeling pretty good about my gifts until I found out he bought me a KitchenAid stand mixer...Now my gifts seem pretty crappy.
I asked DH what he wanted "Socks and underwear". He's so damn practical. His only surprise is (hopefully) a new wallet if I can find one between now and Christmas.
Ice skates. But DH has big feet, so I got the biggest size available and have my fingers crossed. His birthday is 2 weeks later, and for that, I got him a remote controlled plane.
PgAL (MC@7w 29/10/11 - lost you before we knew we had you)
I did a new pair of his favorite jeans and a shirt to go with, the Garth Brooks boxed set thing from Wal-mart that just came out, an Old Spice kit (which is from my son) and I just ordered cigars and a humidor for him as well.
We gave each other a budget of $200-300 this year so it was fun trying to get as much as I could in that range
Drill bits off his wish list… Hockey stick grill tools… a cordless mic for his DJ equipment… I usually get him tickets to something, but I haven't looked anything up yet.
We each get $100 and get to buy what we want with that lol. We're both happy with that decision since we never get to spoil ourselves, we know we will get what we want, and we don't have to think too hard trying to find something the other would like lol. =]
I bought him a book by George Takei. I'll probably get some new socks, a sweater or two, and a Christmas ornament. Boring, but he's impossible to shop for.
We don't do gifts either since we spend enough otherwise throughout the year. We consider new barn board end tables for our basement and the new fridge our presents. However, I am getting him the "My Pillow" because A) he wants one and he destroys every pillow the minute he lays on it. I am hopeful this pillow won't be defeated.
We decided not to give each other gifts this year because we honestly can't think of anything we want/need. So instead we're just spending time with DD and enjoying her first fun Christmas since last year she was a month old.
I had fun shopping for my hubby this year! His big gift is a top of the line craftsman miter saw. This is kind of a gift for me because I'm going to have him use it to make me build in shelving to go around the fireplace. Can't wait!
I also got him all new boxers and a full new outfit.
For stocking stuffers (my favorite) I got him a new pocket knife, beef jerky, new socks, a nice water bottle, hot sauce, and some of his favorite snacks.
My boyfriend is a veteran so I had a combat infantry badge hand carved in wood for him. But I was so excited about it I gave it to him in August when I got it. I asked him what else he wanted and he asked for new silverware........
I got him a new wallet, some CD's, k-cups (he likes a huge collection so he can have different flavors daily), some new pants, 2 books and a home depot GC.
We're not really into spending a lot of money on gifts. We decided we wanted to replace our wedding bands. We found someone on Etsy who makes very affordable rings and ordered those. Then were each buying a few small gifts, things like clothes and wallets and so on.
DH and I don't usually exchange gifts, except for maybe stocking stuffers but we're skipping that this year. We usually make a day out of getting ourselves one or two things we really want and then grabbing a nice dinner.
A season of his favorite tv show on Amazon instant streaming, a 15 pound kettle ball, a subscription to a gaming magazine, and... something to wear but I don't know what. New shoes probably.
We just got married so I was sneaky and got a few camping things I knew he had wanted from our REI registry. I found out today that they emailed the shopping confirmation to his email (I used his membership number to get a discount) so my cover was blown. Whoops!
A 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T He has wanted one for ever and we are in a financial position where we can afford it it's going to be blue, just quickly shot this off the site !! He is gonna flip haha Btw I don't recommend getting a guy a car unless his best friend helps you !!
We aren't big on gifts. We buy what we want throughout the year and he's already got himself a very nice pair of binoculars and some new hunting gear recently.
I had no idea and then yesterday he suggested instead of gifts we just do a nice dinner out (which is what we do for our birthdays already). I think we are doing that + stocking stuffers.
I got him Weathertech floor mats & a cargo mat for his car. Not very exciting but he ripped a hole in his floor mat. He wears big ass boots to work every day so he's always getting mud and rocks in the car too. I was considering getting him a gift card for a massage but the floor mats + cargo mat were kind of expensive. I also got him some funny boxer shorts.
I got him Assassins Creed Black Flag, the 4 book Neverwinter Saga by RA Salvatore, a knife, ammunition, a Phil Robertson bobble head for this little Ford Fiesta(lol!!), a pistol cleaning kit, and a few movies
@Thatkelsgirl your wife of the year award is in the mail, girlfriend! My DH wanted a challenger SO BAD when we traded in his old Dodge Charger but I convinced him to just upgrade to a 2013 Charger instead since it didn't make sense for him to have a 2-door when we'll be carting 2 kids around, lol.
So far I have gotten my DH JayBird wireless headphones, a FitBit flex, a guitar tuner, a weighted vest for running and a sonicare toothbrush. The toothbrush is the only thing he didn't specifically ask for but even though it's kind of lame, I know he'll love it. I also want to get his car set up for Sirius XM since it didn't come Sirius-ready (wtf - what 2013 vehicle doesn't come Sirius-ready?!) He'll also get some small stuff in his stocking like Nike ProCombat compression shorts, running socks, toiletries for his gym bag, etc.
I love that we still go all out on each other with presents. He always outdoes me every year so I know I will be one happy momma on Christmas morning.
We don't do much for xmas either, but this year we are buying a new King size bed. We have been in a double for years now and considering my dh is 6'4" and I'll be expanding, we decided now was the time.
My bday is also next week and dh asked what I wanted - nice sheets and a duvet for our new bed. So excited for it to be delivered!

Haha thanks girl!! He JUST proposed to me recently lol so I thought figured might as well he's one of the good guys. It's totally dumb to get him a vehicle not really kid friendly, but I have a 2013 ford escape and he works out of town the majority of the time so it will be basically just me. On a side note, when he's out of town, he flies directly. Soooooo I get to keep the car safe lol
Probably a digital camera (he thinks he was a camera in a past life and takes photos of me and my bumb constantly now). A prof massage and a few necessities like a wallet and socks lol
I didn't know what to get him but today at SAMs club I saw a Go Pro camera bundle for an amazing price so I picked that up. He can wear it when we ride ATV or when he scuba dives.

We're not doing gifts this year. DH is she hard to shop for. If he wants something, he just buys it because he's so particular about everything. We're just doing stockings for each other... my suggestion, but it's kind of hard at the same time.
Re: What are you giving SO?
Lame presents - more clothes
More exciting present - an indoor bike stand that he can mount his road bike on to ride during the winter.
I'll print the confirmation and place it inside the wallet (that he can use during work travel)
We're not big on gifts but I was thinking of getting him a new bow and arrow set.
I also got him all new boxers and a full new outfit.
