We're team green so if baby is a girl she will be Vivian Joy (Vivian after my materal grandmother, nn Vivi) and if baby is a boy he will be Benjamin Caius (nn Benji).
Big brother is Zachariah Felix (nn Zach). Side story- we almost named him Zachariah Felix Allen because we really wanted to use Allen (family name) but at the last minute- literally as I was filling out the bc forms- I decided it was way too long for such a little boy.

We wanted the girls name to be Vivian Joyce but our last name starts with S and every time I say it I trail the two S sounds together and I was afraid she might develop my lisp.

He also thought we would be able to decide on a name the day we found out it was a boy. Didn't happen.

Any advise would be great.

Could you do Ryder Dee Roy or Reilly Dee Roy? Two middle names doesn't phase me. I loke Ryder better than Reilly. I also love Finn!

We had been almost set on the boy's name and then found out LO is a girl! Oh boy! (I mean girl) My DH wants Eliana (El-ee-on-a) but I am not convinced. I have heard its become quite popular in the US. Is it true?

I am liking Kalila right now or Adara- but Adara was highly considered for DD #1.

Thoughts?

Our DD is Eden and it sounds good with Eliana--that is the only positive for me.

Our DD #2 is Ellianna, she's 4. When we named her that, we had never heard anyone with that name. Since she's been born we've run into a few, but most were spelled Eliana. We call her Ellsy for short:) Our first DD is Allyson, her nn is Ally. We're team green for #3, our girls name is Kendall Elisabeth and our boy name is Nathan Timothy. Elisabeth is my MN and Timothy is my brothers NM, but he goes by Tim.

It's a boy

His name will be Damien Fung! Wanted Noah in the beginning but I found it too popular. We're also trying to figure out his Chinese name, since he is half Asian and in their culture they're born with their original name and then their English name. Still no luck right now lol but will let SO handle that part

@davis713 Delaney is my favorite girl name!!! There is a junkyard in his hometown called Delaney's so he has bad name coorilation with it, so it got knocked off the list quickly...

I like "G" names: Gavin, Garrett, Grant but middle name might end up being Gene since it is a family name on my Hubby's side. My very favorite is Logan but DH is meh on it. His only contributions were Henry and Isaac.....which I don't like either of. Naming is HARD!

We are very set on the name Kit William for our little boy! I'm a little worried about fact that it is more commonly a nickname but my name is Christine so I didn't want to do Christopher or Christian and I just LOVE the name Kit!

We are surprising our families by telling them the name for Christmas (mainly I want to tell my family and we can't tell one without the other). I know my family will love it but I'm terrified my MIL will say something mean and ruin my Christmas

she's very traditional.

Girl, Scarlett Jean B.

Jean is MIL's middle name, her first name is Shirley, which is not exactly the best for a middle name, so we chose Jean. DS's mn is my dad's name who passed away so we wanted to use MIL or FIL's in #3's name.

I think you have to meet your new little person before you can be 100% on a name. I think it's good to have a few you like then figure it out when the little miss or mister comes.
We like Pearl Ann, Monya Faith & Ruby Dee for a girl (all family ties)
We like Gregory John (after our dads) Roland Drance, Andrew Gregory & Michael Joseph for a boy.
Right now baby is Bun...we know oh Bun is but it's a surprise for everyone else

The other thing is-you grew baby you can name it what ever you want! Just remember the playground rule...if it's too easy to rhyme or can be shortages to something nasty-don't do that to your child. Also, as a teacher, spell the name so that it is easily and correctly pronounced.

Thanks Cecilbear! Yeah, I love the name but am just wondering if people call you all sorts of different things. Do you like having the ability to be called multiple names like Liz, Lizzy, etc.? It is also my twin sister's middle name.
