Letdown probs

So I am very sure that my left breast has a forceful letdown that is causing LO to fuss and making feedings from this side very difficult. I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this? I do need to pump at times to generate a stash so I'm unsure how to incorporate normal feedings and occasionally pumping while helping to fix the forceful let down problem.

I dealt with this and just didn't worry about creating a stash. Not sure if that's an option for you. GL!

Thanks for posting that. My DD almost always coughs when I BF her. I've never been able to tell when I letdown, so I wasn't sure what was causing it. This morning she pulled off and milk was squirting out of me very fast. So I tried the positions on the Kellymom page and she didn't choke this time. She also didn't pull off fussing at me this time either, which she has been doing a lot recently.
