Here are the instructions for a soup that helps me with my supply. The chicken bones are key (marrow). I'm looking to find a vegetarian version that works.
Supply Chicken Soup
Equipment:
a large crockpot
Ladle
Strainer
Ingredients:
One whole rotisserie chicken
Carrots to preference
Fingerling potatoes (about 20)
Celery to taste
White Cabbage (quarter of a head)
Kale (half a pound or less)
Veggie broth
Water
Optional:
Chicken bouillon
Salt
Pepper
Powdered garlic
Powdered onion
Ham cubes
Instructions:
Pick the chicken clean & save the meat. Pour vegetable broth into slow cooker. Make sure there is enough to cover the bones & compensate for cooking.
Break up chicken bones. Add seasoning to taste. Put slow cooker on high for 6 hours.
Fish out chicken bones. Make sure you get them all.
Slice up vegetables, rinse. Put into broth, add meat from chicken & bouillon. Cook on high until vegetables are soft.
Ladle & serve with crackers.
