NT Scan results, update and runny nose question

NT results are in and they look great! I have a 1 in 10,000 risk for both downs and Trisomy 18.  The genetic counselor said the average risk for my age group was 1 in 368 for downs and 1 in about 700 for trisomy 18, so we are pretty thrilled about our results and no further testing was recommended.  I also had an OB appt that went well.  We got all of our questions answered, got to hear LO's HB again and I finally got my flu shot.  I am officially a normal pregnant lady!

After the appointment I finally came clean with my boss and I'm so relieved to have that over with.  It is still weird telling people though. Now I'm up with insomnia and a stuffy nose. The runny nose happens every night that I have insomnia, but I'm totally fine during the day. Does anyone else get all stuffed up and sneezy only at night?  Maybe it's just from laying down?  I am starting to wonder if I am allergic to something in my bed.  Time to wash all the bedding!  ETA: clarity

    Yay! Glad the results came back good!!! What a relief that is! I get stuffy when j lay down too. I tried propping my head with a load of pillows but didnt really work.
    TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --

    Yay! I'm so happy your results came back great! I actually just got mine too and have very low risk for everything too :) What a relief!!

    Your stuffy nose sounds like such a pain! I hope you figure it out soon!

    Yay for a good scan and for being "out" with the boss! I have had horrible sinus issues lately, I guess it's called rhinitis and it's inflammation of the membranes. Hopefully you feel better soon!

    Wonderful news!! Im sick with a stuffy nose and it helped to use a humidifier and propped up pillows.

    Yeah! Good news! I get stuffy at night too not sure if it is allergies or just pregnancy nasal swelling. Sorry no remedies to speak of!
    Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
    2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
    IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
    IUI #2 August = BFN!
    IUI #3 September = BFN!

    IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    That's great news.... Whew! I've also had bad congestion for the last couple of months. It was only at night up until this week, and now I'm having it mildly during the day too. I tried a humidifier but it didn't help. It is one of the many reasons I sleep badly!

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    Yay for a great NT Scan!!!  They said the same for me - that my risk was the same for an 18 year old.  I was like, ummmhuhhh.  ;) 

    On stuffiness - yep, mostly at night, but a little bit all the time, for the last couple of months.  It's definitely pg related in my case - been getting mild nosebleeds, too, which I read is common.  Hang in there!!!
