How many of you ladies are hoping on the full moon Tuesday? DH thinks I've lost my mind, but I am convinced Tuesday or Wednesday this baby is coming! And it helps I'm getting acupuncture Tuesday afternoon

Yep. I sure am. Due date is Sunday so hoping with the full moon it'll have some affect lol. Wishful thinking, but it's all I got at the moment.

I'm really hoping to go before then, given I'm due on Sunday and would like to not make it to either of my appointments next week! But that's probably wishful thinking :-)

I hope if I haven't gone by then the full moon will do its work. I just really want her here before Christmas. I dont want to be in the hospital on christmas. I want to make sure DD has a good Christmas with Santa and all.

I'm due Saturday and if she doesn't come on her own by then, they're starting induction on Monday...given that I'm not dilated at all (though I'm 50% effaced and baby girl is at -2!) they expect her birthday may be on Tuesday with the induction...

There's a lot of us with due dates super close together!! I'm good to wait until Tuesday or even Wednesday, husband is worried he won't be able to get time off if I go before my induction Thursday.

Im banking on this full moon so I can avoid my membrane sweep on Wednesday. Maybe the two combined will be the trick!

I won't have the option of being medically induced until late in 41'st week - which is Christmastime- so by that date I don't see the point (unless of course my MW advises it)........If Christmas wasn't coming, I wouldn't care about going over.

My EDD is Sunday at the latest (US showed it fluctuating between last Tuesday and Sunday) and I have to go back to the dr on Tuesday to set an induction if I don't go before

DH is all over the full moon idea. He's been saying that I'm going early and it's going to be the 17th for a few months now. I think that he's jinxed me and I'll be saying 'Happy New Year' between contractions. (Due the 26th)

I'm due on Wednesday so I'm also hoping the moon will help me if I haven't already had her. Would be cool to have her on Tuesday. It's DH's grand parents anniversary and her initials will be the same as his grandmas.

Apparently it isn't an old wives tale ;-) L&D nurses at my hospital confirmed that there were a lot more births on the 16th and 17th, and likely today also!

I lost some mucus plug last night, but nothing else happened. In good news, I got checked yesterday, and the mw said I'm a little better than 2cm. Even if the full moon did nothing for me, hopefully it will be soon.

Everyone tells me it takes 1-2 days after the full moon to push pregnant ladies into labor. Even my OB said this to me, so maybe there is some clout in this????? I am not overdue yet, but I am ready to meet my little lady!!! Hoping all the overdue ladies get the lunar dust to get themselves into labor!

You've given me hope! However, I have a feeling that I'll be making it to my appointment on Monday.

Two of my friends went exactly 2 days after the full moon came around. My OB said she knows L&D nurses to be on high alert the day the full moon starts and the next several days after. The crazy hippie in me wanted to go outside at 2:30 this morning and stand in the full moon with open arms.
