    My DH is going to become a SAHD and I am completely and totally jealous. I wish I was in the position to be a SAHM instead. I am incredibly thankful that one of us gets to stay home though. With the cost of daycare verse how much he makes at work, it just didn't make sense.

    I voted one week, but it will probably be less.  He took a week off with DS and whined the whole time about how bored he was, so he'll probably take off while we're in the hospital plus a couple more days.  So, I guess it just depends on what day of the week this little guy shows up.

    My H has to take a mandatory 2 week vacation every year so we're not sure if he should take it the first 2 weeks or when I have I go back to work at 8 weeks so we can stretch the amount of time until he goes into daycare.

    DH will spend the first week home with me using paid vacation and then the first week I go back to work, he'll stay home with baby for a week paid vacation.
