I have a lovely beautiful little girl and I want another girl. Will I adore and love being a boy mom as much as I love being a girl mom? I'm absolutely sure, but I so love being a mom to a girl.
I'll be thrilled either way, and either way this is my last pregnancy. Adoption is not off the table for us, but I am done being pregnant.
I'd really like a girl. I definitely want at least one of rah but I'm paranoid that if I don't have a girl first I never will (DH is one if three boys and all of the grand kids in his side are boys). On the other hand, boys are adorable too, and I hear they are easier.
I voted girl, because I want to have the experience of having a daughter and son. That said, this pregnancy is identical to my pregnancy with DS so my money is on me being a mom of boys (we are done at 2). Brothers would be adorable though, and I'm a tomboy, athlete, non girly-girl so I'm good with boys. My days are spent building block towers, getting messy in the sand box and rough housing with DS and I wouldn't change it for the world.
ETA: the thought of feeding two teenage boys scares me, DS has a humongous appetite already and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need an extra fridge for the teen years if I've got two boys.
I voted girl. We have a DS and he is wonderful, clearly we make great boys lol, But I would like to have One of each. We actually tried using the Shettles method (realizing that it may not be accurate and we would still be thrilled with another boy) so I'll be interested to see if it worked. DH is CONVIENCED it's a girl and says he'll be shocked if it's not. Lol

I definitely vote for girl, which is why I have a strong feeling I will have a boy! My sister is my best friend and I grew up in a household of girls. I love being a girl and I am not close with my Mom (she has mental problems), so I've always hoped I could have a daughter and be the Mom to her that I always wanted. I know that every child is different, and am in no way trying to live my life through my child, but it's just one of those "dreams" that I've hoped for.
I also love, love, love the name Claire, and it's a family name I've always wanted to use to honor my family, so I hope I have a girl for that reason.
My H really wants a boy.
Either way, we have a big learning experience in front of us!
DH and I and much of our families want a girl. We are a boy dominant family on both sides so a little girl would be amazing! DH is convinced it's a girl and we already refer to the baby as a "she". I am sure we will be a little disappointed at first if this one is a boy but we will quickly get over it once we are told the baby is healthy. With two other losses overall we just want a healthy pregnancy!
I said I really don't have a preference. I would love to ultimately have one girl and one boy so I can experience both (although I realize I have NO control over that), so I would be happy with either. DH has a slight preference for a boy first, but will also be happy either way. If I have two of the same gender, I would rather have two boys because the idea of two teen girls totally scares me! So I guess if I had a boy first I'd have a little bit of relief ;-)
I said girl because we have two boys. I love being a boy mama more than I ever thought I would, but since we've been given this one last gift, I kinda hope I get to experience raising a girl.
To be perfectly honest teenage girls don't scare me nearly as much as 4th grade through middle school. Though that might just be because I spent a lot of time being a TA for those grades and they can just go from sweet to absolute evil in almost no time at all. I think I would like to have a girl someday but I've always pictured myself as having boys in the plural. We're planning on having three plus kids and DH really wants a boy first so I guess I'm leaning toward that. But either way I'll be happy. After all it's not like I can't play superheroes with a daughter just as well as with a son.
I want another boy. No gun to my head needed. I would love a girl, it would be incredible to have a girl- but if I got the ultimate choice I would choose another boy. I know what to expect with a boy, and I'd love DS to grow up with a companion.
Also.......
I vote girl. We have a boy who is 13 months and although I always wanted my daughters to have a big brother I have always pictured myself with a girl. So, if I have a girl I will be ecstatic!
I said girl because I already have one and think it would be great for her to have a sister. I also kind of want a boy just in case we decide we are done after this one.
We only want two. Originally DH said three, but quickly agreed on two after DS was born. I desperately want a little girl to dress up an do girly things with, but I would love another boy just as much. I love my son more than I could have ever imagined. Having another boy would mean that we already have most of the things we would need which would be great considering we are on one income. I am blessed to be able to stay home with DS, but something tells me I would have to go back to work if we have a little girl.
So far, most of the wives tales, DH, and all my family seem to think it's a girl. Guess we will see…
I said no preference because DH and I plan to have 3 and this is our first so we really don't have a preference. We've already started a gender neutral nursery and we cannot wait until we can meet our baby!
I definitely wouldn't mind either way, but I am leaning a bit towards girl. I never had a relationship with my mother and id love to have the mother daughter relationship in some way. However I think little boys are so much fun! Either way we are probably adopting #2 so if we care about the sex then, we can do something about it!
I can really go either way. We have a girl so I'm used to that and have the stuff for a girl but a boy would be wonderful and I have a nephew who will be almost exactly 1 year older than this LO so we can get all the boy stuff from my brother and SIL. Name wise, we have a girl name picked out and agreed on but no boy name so a girl would be easier but we'll figure it out eventually, hopefully.

Also....... The idea of cleaning a tiny vagina scares me.
This terrified me when I had DD. And did you know THEY CAN SEAL CLOSED?!?!? I didn't... Holy Crap, there was a learning curve after 2 boys. LOL

I picked boy because this will be the last grandchild on DH's side and they really want a son to carry on the family name. This being said, I truly don't care boy or girl. I have my reasons for wanting either (a sister for DD so she doesn't end up being the terribly spoiled one). I will have a twinge of disappointment for boy or girl because this will be our last and I will be sad I'm not getting the other. This being said, I will love what ever I get.

Um...what?!!!!!
Yeah, can you say learning curve. DD had a Labial Adhesion. AKA she didn't have enough estrogen or something and it started to seal. I had to apply a topical estrogen to her labia 2x a day for like a month, then watch it for like 6 months. Of course DH was like, HELL NO he wasn't even going there lol.
