  That's weird but I'm sure the little old lady didn't meant to come across as a creeper. I've learned that old people love babies. There are a lot of other things for me to freak out over.

  I wouldn't be terribly bothered about that. Touching a hand or face would bother me more, but a butt tap from an old lady - schmeeeh. Whateves.

  I had an elderly Hispanic gentleman approach me in a department store the other day while I was wearing LO and start talking to him very softly and sweetly in Spanish. LO smiled real big at him and I could see the man's heart melt. The man reached out and stroked LO's cheek then wished me a merry christmas and went on his way.   Yup so far all the older women that have approached my baby will hold her hand , and say something like "God bless her" or say " you take good care of her". It doesn't bug me either , its kinda nice .

  Likes pps have said old people love babies. I don't really think that would have bothered me. She was just trying to be affectionate and probably meant nothing by it.
  
  People touching her hands irks me though, but only because those end up in her mouth and I don't know what that person has been touching. Even then, that's only happened twice maybe since she's been born.

  I had an old man grab MY arm while DS was in his stroller to tell me how cute he is, how he remembers those days with his children, and to enjoy it all because it goes so fast.

  I'm with pp. I wouldn't let it get to you. I love taking LO out right now and watching people dote on her. I think it truly brightens some people's day to admire little babies at this age.

  I think I was just shocked because she seemed to come out of nowhere. Yesterday was the first time I've really worn LO out in public, so I didn't think people would still try to touch her since it's now invading my personal space. Wasn't so much as pissed as a little weirded out I guess
