How many kids do you ideally want?

I have 3 already and this is #4 but I know in a few years ill want another one. I've always loved big families and I want my kids to have a few siblings to play with and be close to. We're fortunate to be able to care for a large family so i'm def taking advantage of it.

How many do you want and why?

I want a lot, but I'm not sure what that number is. When our family is done, I'd like to become a surrogate with no biological relation to the child. To give someone what I can easily obtain myself would be so incredibly rewarding, in my opinion.

We always said at least 2, but we always wanted 3, and now we will! DH says we're done after having these babies, and that's probably smartest.

DH wants 2 (he's an only child), I'd be happy with 3 or 4 (I'm 1 of 4).

We both want 2. But everyone in my family always ends up with 3 whether it's planned or not... Going back 3 generations that has been the case! So we will see what actually happens I guess

Well this is my 1. I would love twins but I am pretty sure I am not signing myself up for pregnancy again. Adoption maybe.

This is number 2 for me. I think I would like 3, but we'll see what happens. I'd like to put a few more years between 2 and 3 and there is definitely a financial component to that decision.

I think we'll be two and through.

For me it's mainly quality of our life and I think we can do more, experience more, etc with just two kids.

Before DD, I wanted 4. DH wanted 2. After having DD, DH wants 3-4, and I would be happy with 2.

ideally just two and far appart. ideally, i would have this one now, and when they get to 6-7yrs old try for the second. I want my oldest to feel included and responsible for the baby. I was 4yrs appart from my sister, and we have an ok relationship. of course, the yrs in between are not an indicative of how a sibling relationship will turn out, but at least if the kid is old enough, they can be a concious part of the entire process.

We're done with 2. I always siad the only way I'd have more than 2 is if the second one ends up being multiples and since there's only one in there right now 2 it is.

I like the idea of surrogacy but since I'll be a few weeks shy of my 37th birthday when this baby makes an entrance I don't think it's in the cards for me.

We've always said 2 with the option for 3. After this pregnancy I am done being pregnant. We are both very interested in and open to adoption, so we may end up with 3.

We go between one and two. If we end up wanting 2, we may adopt for the second.

Officially DH and I have agreed on 4. But I've always wanted a big family (maybe 5 or 6). But I'm also with everyone else; let's see how labor goes. Maybe the last few we will adopt :-)

I always wanted 4-5. DH says 2-3. This is #2. After a 40 day NICU stay with #1 and a loss in between we'll see what happens

This is #3 for us. We are open to the possibility of a 4th but that would really be the limit for us.

We always said 3 or 4, but TTC took so long with this one, and I am SO miserable during pregnancy...I don't know. Maybe 3? I don't think we'll be done with 2, but I'm not sure.
