31 weeks today. I really need to remember to ask DH to take 1 or 2 of these so that not every pic from this pregnancy is a bathroom mirror selfie.

Aw, you're actually 7 months. I'm sorry! Otherwise you'd be 10 months pregnant at your official EDD, and pregnancy is only 9 calendar months. Thank God, who needs a whole extra month of this?
Well I was taking into account that if you take 40 weeks and divide by 4 you do get 10 months. Technically we don't really count that first month so in that way I would be 7months but I am in month 8 it just won't be a full month until the middle of Jan.

If you want to count by months, count backwards from your edd. There's a chart somewhere that explains it better, I think on babycenter?
The only month that's 4 weeks is February- all the others are a few days longer! 4x7=28, not 30 or 31.
ETA: oh! Or think of it like birthdays! On a child's first birthday, you say he's one year old- when actually he's in his second year of life. I'm due march 1, so on feb 1 I will be 8 months pregnant, and in my 9th month. Make sense?
