Just you wait FTMs...(PIP)

DD has been up for approximately 37 minutes during that time she has managed to eat breakfast, annoy the dog to such an extent he is currently hiding out resting peacefully in the kitchen, and this....

FTR we have clean up time every night before bed...

Sometimes I miss the days where my house was immaculate and clutter free...and then I see that smiling little face peeking up at me and I could care less how messy my house may be, it is so freaking worth it!!

STMs have any fun stories to share with our FTMs?

I only have two dogs right now and by the end of the day, my living room looks like this! They need to throw their toys everywhere for some reason (and all the pillows and cushions). I'm in for it, eh?

What has helped me to stay somewhat organized is keeping all the baby/toddler toys in storage baskets. I bought some relatively inexpensive ones at Ikea (but still match my decor) and I simple throw all the toys in the baskets at night and put them back on my shelving unit. It helps to hide them...the smaller toys at least!

She's so cute! My DD is wearing the same PJs!

I've given up keeping ornaments on the bottom half of the Christmas tree! She just takes them off, yells "ball", and throws them!

@ccip82 She is so stinking cute. I love her jammies. And what animal is she wearing on her head?? I saw her jammies are fleece...did you put her in fleece ones when she's a baby? I'm so torn on some of the cuter ones I see because I feel like a baby would get so hot. Are fleece PJ's a toddler thing?

To the FTMs...Get ready for when they come in your bed and take over!! The bed rails which should be for them, will be the only thing keeping you from rolling off the bed!!

@bethughknee- I used fleece sleepers from birth, but I didn't layer them with onesies..my LO was always warm but never overheated.

She is wearing a Highland Coo hat on her head. It is basically a hairy/furry type of cow found here in Scotland. I've had her in fleece jammies just about every night since we moved to Scotland because our house is a bit cooler. I've found she hasn't overheated and most nights, I do not put a onesie underneath. She did have a couple of fleece SleepNPlays as a newborn too that I used. DD wore them throughout the day as well as night.

She looks so proud :-) Our house looks like this quite often! I wish we had a playroom but I did just get some nice storage bins from target to do the same thing. We did some Christmas crafts with glitter last night. What was I thinking! Glitter everywhere!

Unfortunately we have one common living space that is family/living/play/tv room.

My husband is no help. We had a bunch of it packed up in the garage & he allowed her to "go through" the boxes to find a "few" toys to bring in........................ Why & How did she manage to discover the card box from our wedding? From 5 years ago !!! So yep. She's claimed that too.

What about when you tell your 2 1/2 year old she needs to turn off the iPad and she response with "you need to leave mommy! Go to work!"

Or when you tell her she can't have any more candy she says "daddy need to come home! I eat candy all day long with daddy!"

The 1st is how worn out DS1 was after enjoying what is the 2nd- a tissue box emptied all over the living room, 1 at a time.

My 19 month old HAS to do whatever her lord brother does! All.the.time. It's quite comical. Our living room and playroom is a disaster until the end of the day bc I refuse to clean it up more than 1-2x a day.

Here's a picture if my crazies...my son loves Santa and dresses up like him frequently, so of course my daughter needed to do the same!

The second picture Sterling went outside to play so she had to too, but she cried almost the whole time and didn't want her picture taken...she's a bit of a drama queen.

Okay, what really happened--- Snow day, masking tape down the hallway that he had to climb through, and then he ran through it and twirled in it.

I'm sure duct tape would work well, too. We have a total fixer upper of a house, and so I let him put the masking tape down on the carpet (in the hallway) to build a hopscotch that day as well.

Oh, I just found popcorn in my sleeve. Yum.
