Does anyone have this? Does it seem to fit through most doorways? My son will be 18 months when number two arrives and we are having a hard time figuring out which double stroller is right for us. The tandem ones feel like your are pushing a train around but I'm worried the side by side would be hard to fit through doorways at Dr offices and such(our family is at the drs every week for appts) what are your thoughts? Thanks so much!
Re: City Mini double stroller?
Mine are 19 months apart and I just wear my youngest and my eldest goes in my GT.
FWIW my boys are 19 months apart and the side by side works great. If you are looking at the City Mini consider looking at the Snap. It is lighter, slightly more narrow, and has a bigger basket than the City Mini. It also folds flat like the city mini. It also comes with separate bumper bars that you can remove. It pushes 1 handed too. You should be able to get a great deal on one as well right now.

We went on vacation in May and since we were flying I didn't want to take my CM Double so I rented a CM Double GT at our destination.
I didn't notice a difference in the way the handled/maneuvered. They both handle really well. The GT had a few extra features that I really liked so it just depends on if you want to pay more money for the extras. I liked that it had a hand brake instead of a foot brake. I found it easier to use than the foot brake. I also like the air filled tires because the stroller sits a little higher and I liked the adjustable handlebar.
All that said, I don't know if all those features are worth the extra money. The one thing that would definitely make the GT worth it is if you take a lot of walks over uneven terrain. In that case, then the GT does handle better and it would be worth it.
You really can't go wrong with either stroller.

FWIW, the GT wheels are not air filled. They are foam. I suggested the Valco because it also has foam wheels which are larger and good for some terrain. Also, she was concerned about the weight of the GT which was why I brought it up.
The GT wheels are in fact air filled. I've touched them myself. They are made out of the same materials as the back wheels of the City Select. Forever air= air filled.
A side note you will be able to get air filled tires for the Snap next year, although I doubt that they are needed for most people. I've taken mine through just about everything without an issue. The Valco Zee does have air filled tires available but your getting into a heavier stroller and $$$.
